Volvo Plans Plug-in Diesel Hybrid for 2012

Volvo’s first production plug-in hybrid, to be on European roads by 2012, will be a diesel with 30 miles of all-electric range. It will also have a whopping 745 miles of range on batteries plus the diesel engine.
